cloudless sulfurCloudless Sulphurs are the ubiquitous yellow butterfly that can be seen all over the island.

It is a pierid butterfly, which is the family of butterflies that is probably responsible for the name: literally, a butter colored fly.  They are common on Dewees Island and use legumes as a host plant.  This would include butterfly pea and downy milkpea.
