If you want to learn more about the feathered friends that call the island home, please join us for one of our regular Wednesday bird outings.  We usually meet at 8:30.  Check the main board on the ferry dock for our meeting place– it rotates between the impoundment and the ends of the island.  Can’t tell a shorebird from a raptor?  Don’t worry… this gives you a chance to learn and practice.  I learn something new each time I go.
