Time Will Tell

Tonight, when we surveyed the impoundment a little before dusk, the situation seemed a little more grim than we reported this afternoon.  Not terrible.  But not great either.  We didn’t see any gasping fish and the flounders have gone deeper into the water away from the edges.  We did see dead menhaden along the edges of the impoundment.  There were a few in Chapel Pond.  There were many more along the edge of the water by Dewees Inlet Drive.
