In this difficult economy, it’s nice to see that sailing is helping to pull in record numbers of tourism dollars for our community.

Several members of the Dewees community have been helping with the event, including Gary McGraw as the driver of the coach boat for the Viper 640 class, Bob Drew as the driver of a starting area boat for race area 1. Reggie and Judy Fairchild volunteering for setup, on the water reporting and hauling boats on Sunday.
