If you haven’t tried Facebook yet, you should. It’s a great way to get in touch and stay in touch with what’s happening with family and friends. Unlike MySpace, which can be viewed by anyone and is a little creepy, Facebook is based on your circle of friends and their friends. You’ll be amazed by what you’ll learn. Big stuff and fun little stuff. It’s a great way to keep the conversion going.
I can almost guarantee that your kids and grandkids are using it. If you want to know what they’re up to, you join.
You can start slow. Go to Facebook.com. Sign up. Use your real name, a picture of yourself, and list your hometown. These bits of information are all important so that your friends can make sure they’re reaching the right Anne Anderson or Jimmy Smith and not some stranger. Skip entering any other details until you get comfortable with Facebook.
Do a search on 5 people know. Invite them be your friends. In a day or two sign back on to Facebook and see what your friends are doing and saying. You’ll be amazed and delighted.
As you get come to understand Facebook, then add some more people. Do it now, you’ll love it.
My mom uses it and loves it!
