Seeding Clams

When is the POA going to seed clams at Six Pipes again?

It seems like the last time clams were seeded was back when both Karl and Arla worked on Dewees.  That’s 3+ years ago.

The key to good clams is baby clams.  The littler they are, so long as they’re over the legal limit — which I think is 1 inch, the better.  Big clams get tough and are only good for chowder; even then they need to be frozen, put in a blender or otherwise treated to be tasty.

The folks I’ve talked to say seeding cost less than $200.  That’s peanuts when compared to the overall POA budget.  Let’s seed and get some great little clams!
