Trailing Bluets

Trailing Bluets, Houstonia procumbens, are a tiny spring flower often found in small clumps along the forest floor or along sandy roadsides. They bloom in open spaces in the maritime forests and sandy soils around the island. They’re common here, but they are sometimes characterized as rare.
