We are so excited to see that the bald eagles seem to be tending a nest. With my new scope, I can watch from across the impoundment and even put a point and shoot camera up the the lens. For a few months, the eagles have been spending time on the platform, rebuilding the nest and staying there overnight, but this is the first time I have seen them sitting for the better part of two days. We’ll keep watch, and keep you posted!

Do we need to reinforce that pole? I worry that the weight of big birds plus bigger nest could be too much.
