This Saturday, December 1st, is the annual Parade of Boats in Charleston Harbor.  We’ll be aboard the Dewees Islander with great seats to watch the decorated boats go by.

If you are going into town with us, we’ll be leaving the Marina at 4:00 to head downtown.  Bring your own beverages, and we’ll have a few nibbles for the gang.  Yes, there will be a functioning head (bathroom) aboard.

We will stop by Mount Pleasant Park at Shem Creek to pick up passengers (must be reserved in advance) at 5:00, and float around to see all the fabulously decorated boats when the parade begins at 5:30.  Then we’ll put in at the park again to offload anyone who wants to get off, and return to the IOP marina.

We expect tickets to be between 10 and 15 dollars– depending on the final number of passengers.  Email communications@deweesislandpoa.org to be added to the roster.
