Tomorrow, Lowcountry Local First is hosting their annual Chef’s Potluck event at Middleton Plantation. Jamee Haley and Dewees Real Estate put together a cool package to bid on… Chef Frank McMahon of Hank’s seafood will prepare a dinner for 8 at a Dewees residence. If an islander is the winning bidder, it can be at your home; otherwise we’ll showcase one of our fabulous homes for sale to off-islanders. You can buy tickets at the door; the poster is attached so you can see what it’s all about. We featured Jamee and LLF in this post, on Dec 20, 2011. Check it out; it’s not every day a chef will cook you dinner in your own home. And if you don’t live on the island, come along and collect some oysters and other local seafood with Chef McMahon, and enjoy a really special dinner!

Sadly, Jess, the answer is no! I checked with Jamee to see if we could place a bid from afar, and she said, not this year. Hopefully in the future!
