Today, the Dewees Environmental Program announced a great opportunity to meet with one of the truly renowned biologists in the state.  Mr. McCord will be leading a Spring Nature Walk on Dewees:

Meet at the Landings Building

Stay for lunch after the walk!  Bring a sack lunch or order a box lunch for $10.

Mr. McCord is a frequently cited expert on environmental issues.  He’s an expert on Monarch butterflies and island Hammocks.  Here’s just one story about monarch butterflies, in which, Mr. McCord is quoted.

    I took the walk (golf cart) with Billy last year and will again this year as he is an unbeliveable resouce of info about our Dewees Environment….Check it out, it’s very worth while.
