Helicopter photo shoot

Robinson R-44 4-seater helicopter used in photo shoot

Early Wednesday morning, the sounds of a helicopter could be heard all over the island. Many of the aerial shots we have of the island are 10 years old or taken at low tide, as part of the geomorphology study.  We had seen the work of Adam Boozer, and hoped to hire him to do some shots of Dewees. He finished a job early and had already rented the helicopter and equipment, so he called Reggie late Tuesday night and told him to be at the airport at 5:45.  The tide was high at sunrise when the light would be great, so all the pieces fit together.  We got some awesome shots with our camera, and we can’t wait to see the footage from a professional!
