It was a spectacular day, with high clouds and low humidity.  We began the day with Bubber’s beach run, moved on to the golf cart parade, gathered at the beach at 2:00 to wave at a C-17 flyover, and finished with a panoramic view of mainland fireworks.  It was a great gathering of old friends and new, full of laughter and patriotic spirit.
