Searocket Markers

Little, green-painted PVC pipes with numeric tags on them have popped up all over the Dewees Beach.  We think they mark the location of searocket plants that were recently surveyed.  The marker in the picture below is numbered 323 making us wonder if there are several hundred new markers on the beach.  If you know for sure what the markers are for and/or how many were installed, please let us know.
